Photos and Videos from the World Premiere
The World Premiere of Frac Attack at Cinemapolis on December 10th was a huge success! Over 180 folks came out to watch the film and participate in a lively discussion about the making of the film and the issue of natural gas drilling.
Through ticket sales, merchandising and donations, we were able to raise $600, exactly twice what we spent on making the movie! Part of the remaining $300 will be donated to Shaleshock and the rest will be used for future activist media projects. Here’s to community-supported filmmaking!
The after party at Ragmann’s was tons of fun. We danced, chowed down on food donated by Pizza Aroma and Greenstar Cooperative Market, and announced the raffle winners. Eric, who played a zombie in the movie, won the Frac Attack movie poster, Evie won the “Ithaca is Braains” T-shirt (provided at a discount by T-shirt Express), and Jerry won a zombie make-up session.
